My children have been brainwashed by their Gram and Pops, and here is the Proof! They have been able to do this for 9+ months now. The only saving grace is that if you ask them what Pistol Pete does to Jayhawks they say "He Shoots Them!" At least they understand the food chain of Big 12 mascots.
I started this blog after being inspired by my sister-in-law. I thought it would be a fun place to post all of the funny things that my 4 year old twins say and do. People always love to hear their stories...so why not post them!

I'm Mom Kim, No I'm Mom Kim!
The girls have been mimicking people lately. A couple of nights ago, Scott took these great pictures of the girls brushing each other's hair. They were acting like they were Mom Kim, the super nice lady that cuts their hair. Mom Kim is Logan's Fraternity House mom, and the Mom part must be attached with her name when you refer to her, otherwise, nobody knows who you are taking about. The girls love to go to Mom Kim's shop, and tell me when they think it is about time to visit again (we have an appointment March 12th). I was actually thankful that they were only combing, and had not felt the need to mimic the cutting...yet!

Puzzles!

Cousin Maddie gave the girls this awesome floor puzzle. It is a 2' by 3' Dora counting puzzle. This is the third or forth time we have put it together since Christmas. It usually takes close to an hour. Great time killer! Usually, I help, but last Saturday, I told the girls that I was going to let them do it by themselves...I needed to fold the laundry. Surprisingly they had it together in no time, and I got the laundry folded. I love this puzzle so much, that I bought a Diego one too!

Giving Pops a Hard Time!

I think it is really important to tease kids when they are young, so they can take it when they get to school (thanks mom). If you were wondering, that is what happened to Logan. He got teased A LOT! Well, I try and tease Elle and Emma too. We call it "just kidding". Sunday was the first time I ever noticed Elle or Emma really teasing back. Pops asked Emma what was on his shirt, and if you have ever been around my Dad much, you could guess he was wearing something with a Jayhawk on it. But, Emma was not going to give in. He asked her what was on his shirt and she said "Pistol Pete" 4 or 5 times....just yanking his chain. It was so funny. Then he asked her again, and frankly she was getting sick of it so she said..."a turkey". Sooooo Funny! Rock Chalk Turkey Go KU!
