Allen and Lori's Wedding

My Concrete Lab Teaching Assistant, Allen, got married on Saturday, and the girls and I went. It was conveniently in Oklahoma City, so we went down to the wedding and stayed with Scott. He is in OKC for 10 days for the Oklahoma Youth Expo (lots of words for a big animal show). The wedding was so pretty. It was in a chapel that was gorgeous! It had lots of wood beams and a wall of glass in the front. The wedding was short and sweet, just the right length for 2 year olds! We arrived a bit late, but were able to slide in and the girls were really excited about all of the petals that someone dropped by our seat.

The reception was in the same building. The reception started with some dancing (2-year-old style). The girls enjoyed the food, and the candy in the gift bags. But, the highlight for Elle (and Momma) was the out-of this world chocolate cake. The grooms cake was designed by Allen, and had construction toys all over it. It looked like a construction site! So cute...even the girls were impressed. The punch was Emma's favorite. She had 3 cups! The girls were so taken by Lori in her wedding dress. Hey kept telling me where she was, and wanted to go see her!
