Emma, who will be two in May, decided about a month ago that she wanted to change her name. I called her name and she corrected me. She would now like to go by Emmy. She typically will correct any mispronounciations. Funny thing is that I actually thought about naming her Emme, but her twin is named Elle pronounced L, and frankly I did not know how to pronounce Emme would it be M or Emmee? And if I was having trouble with it, what would the rest of the world do?

JP reminded my last night that Reagan wanted to change her name when she was about Emma's age. Her name was going to be "Nee-Nee". She would correct us as well. Too funny! I'll be sure to call Emma by her new name, Miss Emmie!
